The IOF intensify Gaza offensive and shell civilian targets

The IOF continued their offensive on the Gaza Strip this week, manifested through the shelling of Al Ehsan Charitable Society in Al Toffah neighborhood in Gaza City, firing around 30 missiles in east Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, and firing three missiles in the north of Beit Lahia.
On December 3rd at around 11.
30pm, according to the Center's fieldworkers, the IOF fired approximately 30 tank missiles on unpopulated areas of east Jabalia and Beit Hanoun.
The Israeli military air force shelled 3 missiles in the north of Beit Lahia early Sunday morning terrifying local residents, in particular women and children.
No casualties were reported.
In other incident on December 4th at approximately 3am, the IOF fired a missile at Al Ehsan Charitable Society located in a two- storey building behind Yafa School in Gaza City's Toffah neighborhood; the building was partially damaged.
The IOF have continued firing on whoever approaches the borders of the Gaza Strip, and at midnight of December 2ndthe IOF opened fire on citizens, killing Abdel Hadi Abu Libda, aged 18 and injuring Zohdi Nafez Shaheen, aged 19 and Anour Ata Abu Libda, aged 17.
Furthermore, the Palestinian fishermen are also threatened and on December 12th the IOF opened fire and killed 22-year old Ziad Ismael Al Bardaweel while he was fishing.
Al Mezan Center for Human Rights condemns the ongoing Israeli offensive and calls upon the International Community, in particular the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, to immediately intervene and provide protection to Palestinians in the OPT, in order to reduce the negative impact of the tight siege imposed on the movement of individuals and goods coming into and leaving the Gaza Strip.
