Israeli Aircrafts Attack Citrus Filed and Injure Five in Beit Lahiya


At approximately 11:10 on Tuesday 24 June 2014, Israeli aircrafts fired three missiles at a citrus field which is owned by Hassan Abu Taleb “Al Masri”, and located in Al Hatabeyya area in Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
As a result, five people were injured.
Al Mezan has identified their names as follows: Sa’da Mohammed Al Maslami, 45; Faten Mohammed Abu Taleb, 31; Malka Salah Abu Banat, 28; Maha Mahmoud Abu Banat, 12; and Ibrahim Mohammed Al Marsi, 2.
They all sustained injuries in their bodies and medical sources at Kamal Odwan hospital described their injuries as minor.
The attack caused damage for about 3,000 meter of area of the planted filed.
Six windowpanes of the nearby houses were partially broken.
It’s worth mentioning that it’s the first time for the Israeli aircrafts to target this place.
