The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued its systematic and flagrant violations of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt).
The IOF broke into a number of NGOs offices in Ramallah stole and sabotaged their belongings.
According to information available to the AL Mezan Center for Human Rights, at approximately 3:00 am on Tuesday 11 December 2012, IOF broke into the Nongovernmental Organization Networks and Al Dameer for Prisoners Support and Human Rights Association offices which are located in As-Sabat building in Al Masioun neighborhood, and Union of Palestinian Women Committees office which is located in Ramallah Hospital street in Qadoura refugee camp.
The IOF broke the doors of the NGOs offices, searched the offices, and sabotaged their documents and computers.
The IOF confiscated seven computers, four laptops, the main server, and a number of files from the Union of Women Commitees office.
The IOF also confiscated three computers, camera, receiver, and a number of documents from Al Dameer.
The Al Mezan Center for Human Rights condemns assaults against NGOs offices with intent to affect its work and activist that aim to disclose ongoing Israeli violations particularly violations against Palestinian detainees, agricultural lands, and the apartheid wall.
Al Mezan calls on the international community to uphold its legal obligations towards oPt and its residents under the Fourth Geneva Convention, to end Israeli violations against Palestinian civilians and NGOs, and to ensure the implementation of accountability and brining perpetrators to justice.
