According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, An-Namroutti covered himself in fuel and set himself on fire at the Ministry of Social Affairs (MOSA) in North Gaza district branch in protest of MOSA’s refusal to recognize him as a case qualified to receive humanitarian and financial aid from MOSA.
As a result, one room was burnt and two social workers Rania Mohammed Ash-Shanti, 21; Asmaa’ Nattat, 25; as well as Ibrahim Mohammed Ka’bar, 72; and Ibrahim An-Nemer, 21, were injured.
